TSM overpowered HellRaisers in the second upper bracket semi-final 2-0 (de_mirage 16-6, de_cache 25-23). The second series of the day started off on TSM's pick, de_mirage, with the Danes beginning as Counter-Terrorists as well, where Finn "karrigan" Andersen was showing wonderful performances from the start. A triple kill in pistol for the in-game leader was only the start of what followed, as karrigan continued to obliterate HellRaisers' attacks all around the map with his AWP picks. Eventually HellRaisers got a round on the board at 12-0, but they were unable to seal any more on the first side and TSM stormed onto the second half with a 14-1 scoreline. HellRaisers did manage to hold off TSM's inevitable victory with a pistol-round and a first-gunround win, but after an eco TSM picked both in a row, with Nicolai "device" Reedtz sealing the deal with a one-on-two for 16-6 on the first map. de_cache was HellRaisers pick and thus the second map, and that time around it was the squad from ex-CIS who started off on the more favorable side. Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow's triple headshot combined with kucher's double ensured a 2-0 lead, but a couple of B pushes from the Danish side evened it out at 2-2.
Rustem "mou" Telepov and his lonesome AWP then dealt a lot of damage to TSM's economy despite HellRaisers being on an eco otherwise, but it wasn't enough as TSM stormed onto a 5-3 lead just a couple of rounds after. HellRaisers then got some rounds on the board, but in the end only got eight before switching over, as TSM kept abusing the opposing side's weakness on the B bombsite. A well-rehearsed pistol round from ANGE1 put his team on a two-round lead, although that was set back to only one due to Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth's triple in a second-round forcebuy from the quad boxes. That was soon turned into a tie despite a scary forcebuy from ANGE1 and company, but from there on it was five rounds in a row in favor of HellRaisers, even though Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and device were very close to winning two separate one-on-threes. While up against five map points, TSM still managed to bring it back and not even a timeout helped HellRaisers turn it into map three, as after a triple overtime and a very strong showing from dupreeh, the Danes pulled through in the end to make it 25-23 and 2-0 in the series.
